In the endless void of space, you are trying to survive... here is a laser cannon...

YAHS (Yet Another Horde Survivor)  is a fast-paced horde survival game set in the depths of space. Pilot your ship through waves of asteroids and hostile enemies while collecting strange shards and upgrading your arsenal. How long can you survive the void?  Beware the glitched ones!

This is an alpha demo version of a game I'm fiddling with, written in go from scratch. Lot of features and ideas in the mind queue!

Content of the demo

• 8 weapons
• 9 passives
• 2 ships
• some enemies
• 1 stage (+endless)
• and some secrets

Gameplay elements

• Dynamic Weapon System: Unlock, level up and upgrade to unique weapons
• Rougelike Progression: Each run is a little bit different with procedurally generated enemies and random equip and upgrade offers
• Find stations: discovering the void can give you bonuses or unlock some secrets
• Ship customisation: 
  • nose: mainy for weapons,
  • hull: mainly for passives, determines shield charge count
  • thrusters: mixed of both; determines dash charge count
• Elite enemies: upgrade already owned weapons with crazier stuff

tips

don't die, collect as many green stuff as you can. if nothing else, shapes will be your undoing.
